Hello from Woodstock, GA

Enjoy!
"The airplane was great. I got to talk to the people sitting next to me about the Book of Mormon. One of them was very humble and excited about the message. He was really interested about how Jesus visited the American continent and when I showed him where he could read it, he loved it. He read like 20 chapters all throughout the book. He loved how we could tell him exactly where the Book of Mormon came from.
"When we arrived in Georgia, the first thing we did was talk to those around us on the MARTA about the Gospel. That was a neat experience. Everyone is interested and excited to talk to you so you have a lot of chanced to bear your testimony. It is interesting how easy it is to talk about the Gospel once you start talking to someone.
"I was assigned to serve in Woodstock, it's on the far west side of the mission. My companion is Elder Hemsley, he is from Kaysville, UT. It's crazy cause he has only been out for 3 months. It is a biking area, I was so exhausted the first couple of days. I wasn't too excited about biking everywhere all day bit it is getting easier each day and I am liking it more and more. Woodstock has a lot of hills so biking around all day is hard.
"The ward is awesome, the food has been spectacular! We get fed every night from the members and Elder Hemsley said he doesn't know a bad cook in the ward, so far I agree with him. Plus the members make their best when the missionaries com over so I have had some great southern cooking this week. I've had some amazing chicken pot pie and really really good pork chops, and other good meals. Elder Hemsley said even though you are biking around all day it is impossible not to gain any weight from the way the members cook food.
"So to my surprise, missionaries sing in the ward choir and so we sang on Sunday. The choir is really small, only 2 other men sing in the choir. The song turned out pretty good on Sunday, the ward isn't very lucky to have me singing in the choir. "

Elder Jordan asked to have a couple of things sent from home, the weather is colder then anticipated at this time of year so he needed some things to keep him warm while biking everywhere.

We hope you have enjoyed this message and Elder Jordan would LOVE to hear from you. You can either leave some comments that I will be sure to pass on or write him a letter!'
